In total, there have been 301 orbital launches in 2025, including today's launches of the Falcon 9 and "Changzheng-12" rockets. Six of these launches were emergency missions.
The high number of launches this year is primarily driven by the deployment of low Earth orbit satellite constellations. Approximately two dozen more launches are anticipated before the year concludes.
