The US President envisions a 76-meter arch that he deems as the world's "greatest and most beautiful." The purpose or subject of the arch remains undisclosed. Should the project come to fruition, it would stand taller than both the Capitol and Lincoln Memorial.
The White House has presented the design to the Commission of Fine Arts. The architectural sketch features elements such as a golden inscription saying "One Nation Under God," eagles, a winged Statue of Liberty, and lions adorning the arch.
