The Russian neural network, Alice AI, has impressively outpaced DeepSeek in terms of growth rate according to Sensor Tower's data for 2025.

In terms of growth, Alice AI saw a remarkable increase with a rise of 11.7% in downloads within a year, and an astonishing 3.6 times surge in the fourth quarter. In contrast, the previous leader, DeepSeek, experienced a decline in downloads with a 10% drop per year and a significant 56% decrease in the last quarter. Despite DeepSeek still having a higher total number of downloads, both neural networks are fiercely competing for top position in user engagement, with Alice AI at +156.7% for the year and DeepSeek at 120%.
