The majority of the world's Christians are not in Europe or the USA, as commonly assumed. Surprisingly, Africa is home to 667 million Christians, surpassing other continents. Latin America follows closely behind with 612 million Christians, accounting for 67% of the global Christian population.
Contrary to expectations, Europe has 565 million Christians, while North America has 268 million. Interestingly, in 1900, the Global North held 82% of Christians, a significant shift from the present 33% dominance.
